Reason for the Change
EP NL, the Dutch subsidiary of EPH, earlier this year renamed its power plants to better align the various entities within the EP NL group. PZEM now joins this strategic realignment.
In addition, we have strengthened our trading operations through a close collaboration with EP Commodities (hereafter EPC). EPC, part of the same EPH, specializes in trading energy commodities, as well as purchasing and reselling transmission and storage capacity. With a focus on natural gas, electricity, and emissions rights, EPC operates across Europe and is a well-established player in the energy market.
Like EP NL, EPC is part of EPH, one of the largest owners and operators of power plants in Europe. This collaboration enhances our market position and enables us to better serve our clients with innovative energy solutions. See here for more information about EPH.
With these steps, we strengthen our focus on growth, harmonization, and strategic collaboration, positioning us more effectively in an ever-changing energy market.

What will change? - Company Name: Our name will change to EP Commodities B.V. The logo and corporat identity will also change.
- Email Addresses: Our email addresses will change to: @epnl.nl or for trade contacts to @epcommodities.nl.
- Labels: The new official legal name will be EP Commodities B.V. and will be registered with the Chamber of Commerce, replacing our current name, PZEM Energy Company B.V. Additionally, EP Commodities B.V. will operate under two labels: EP Commodities and EP NL Energy.

What Remains the Same? - Registrations and Records; Our Chamber of Commerce registration, bank details, and other official data remain unchanged.
- Physical Location; Our office will continue to operate from the same address.
- Supply and Services; The quality of our products and services remains the same. Your regular points of contact and the established processes will remain unaffected.

Why the two labels? Starting in February, we will operate under two labels, each with a clear focus:
- EP NL Energy: Within EP NL Energy, we focus on business energy consumers in the Netherlands, providing reliable supply and standardized as well as customized energy solutions.
- EP Commodities: Within EP Commodities, our trading floor focuses on the European wholesale market for energy commodities such as electricity, gas, and CO2 emissions. We collaborate with the existing brand EP Commodities, a subsidiary of EPH. This strategic step leverages the expertise and network of EP Commodities to strengthen our trading position and offer customers innovative energy solutions, which is crucial for sustainable growth in a rapidly changing market.
